Terms of Service

This is a prototype build. These terms are a placeholder and should be reviewed by a legal professional before commercial launch.

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using PricePilot ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

PricePilot provides automated repricing, Buy Box monitoring and analytics for Takealot Marketplace sellers. You are responsible for the prices, floors and ceilings you configure, and for compliance with Takealot's own seller agreement.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials and Takealot API key secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Pricing decisions

Repricing operates within the limits you set. While we apply safety guards (price floors, ceilings, velocity and oscillation protection), you remain responsible for reviewing your pricing strategy and outcomes. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty that any specific sales or Buy Box result will be achieved.

5. Fees & billing

Paid plans are billed per the pricing shown at sign-up. You may upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

6. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the Service, attempt to disrupt it, or use it to violate any law or third-party terms, including Takealot's.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PricePilot is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or sales, arising from use of the Service.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated, and continued use constitutes acceptance.
