Privacy Policy

This is a prototype build. This policy is a placeholder and should be reviewed by a legal professional before commercial launch.

1. What we collect

Account details (name, email), your Takealot store data (offers, prices, stock, orders and Buy Box state) and your repricing settings. We also process your Takealot Seller API key to operate the Service.

2. How we use it

To run repricing, monitor the Buy Box, generate analytics and send you alerts. We do not sell your personal information.

3. How we protect it

Your Takealot API key is encrypted at rest (AES-256). Access is restricted and scoped to your account. Data is transmitted over HTTPS.

4. Data sharing

We share data only with the services required to run PricePilot (e.g. Takealot's API, and notification providers for email/WhatsApp alerts you enable). We never share it for advertising.

5. Your rights (POPIA)

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Disconnecting a store halts processing for that store; deleting your account removes your data.

6. Retention

We keep your data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards as required for legal and operational purposes, then delete or anonymise it.
